This past week Jeff was gone most of the week and my work schedule is picking back up again and getting really busy. So mom and dad took Decker for three days before we came down to Mt. Ayr for the weekend. Decker had lots of big plans for those days with granny and pampa and the lucky kid that he is got to do almost all of them. On Wed. they took him to the Blank Park Zoo – his first time! From what I heard he had lots of fun and enjoyed looking at all the animals. There was a tiny meltdown when the train took off and Pampa wasn’t on it, but otherwise they got along great. The next day he spent with Claire and they got to go to the Warin farm and check out the cows, pigs and semis. Our little farmer was pretty excited! He also got to spend time with Nina and more play time with Claire, plus hit up the Dairi Sweet a few times for ice cream. Jeff and I came down Fri. night after work. Sat. we had Claire’s 2nd birthday party. She was quite the ham and we all had lots of fun after the rain quit. The kids liked playing on her new swing set and playhouse. Sun. we spent Father’s Day at the lake. Which meant I spent the day in the water this time swimming with Decker instead of Jeff since it was Father’s Day. It had rained the night before so was quite cold :) We had a lot of fun over the weekend and Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there!
