Happy Easter!

I can’t believe that Easter has already come and gone. With the winter weather and early Easter it seems so early for it this year. It was our turn to be in Mt. Ayr for the weekend and had lots of fun with family. On Friday I had the day off so mom came to pick me and boys up and we went to eat at Katie Ann’s restaurant that night. Sat. morning we headed to Nina’s and dyed Easter eggs with Nina and Aunt Becky. In the afternoon we headed to Aunt Patty’s house to see the Parrish cousins. The kids had fun dyeing more Easter eggs, playing outside, riding the gator, having an Easter egg hunt and eating lots of sweets! We were glad to see Evan and Mallory since they had been sick the last time we got together. Unfortunately Jeff got sick in the middle of the night and spent the whole night and Easter Sunday with the flu so missed out :( Sun. morning the Grady and Decker woke and got their Easter baskets before we headed to church. The kids did pretty good during the service. Decker went up front for children’s sermon with Claire; she held his hand and showed him where to go. He even raised his hand for a question with Pastor Chris and answered it right. He’s so grown up! We headed back to mom and dad’s and had a great Easter dinner with another egg hunt for the kids afterwards. It was a big weekend and all three boys were wiped by the car ride home!
Pampa and Granny with all their grandbabies
Brothers!  I went all out this Easter and bought the boys matching outfits.  Decker loves to match his brother and was so excited about the outfits :)
Proud mama with her boys (too bad Daddy was sick!)

Hamming it up for the camera!
Four generations!
Decker liked his snake he found in his Easter basket

Grady loved his new book
Super heroes!  Claire likes to follow Decker's lead all the time.  So they are being superheros and showing us their super strong muscles! (sans shirts of course)
Dyeing Easter eggs started the shirts off because Claire didn't want to get her new shirt dirty!
Aunt Becky with the kids after their scavenger hunt she had set up for them
Aunt Patty made a baby quilt for Grady and gave it to him and one to Nash over Easter weekend.  She did such a beautiful job - I love it!  She found a way to transfer his birth announcement on to the quilt and said "Stitched for Grady with Love"  Thanks again Aunt Patty!!

I had to show Nash's quilt too - love all the ducks!
We visited the Stephens farm while we were back and Decker and Claire got to feed the baby calf
