Ringing in the new year
On the 1st we met my parents, my brother and his and family and most of the Parrish’s to celebrate Christmas at the indoor water park in Des Moines. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with kids. There are big slides for the older kids and then a pirate ship with all sorts of fountains and little slides for the younger ones. Lots of fun! Then Sat. night we went bowling at Bass Pro Shops and had a tournament with the family vs. the in-laws. The in-laws walked away as the winners but we’re going to need a rematch! Mom and Dad even found old Senior Olympic medals from my great, great uncle Clyde to give out as prizes. He would have liked knowing that we each have one. On Sun. we played in the water park some more and then headed home. A very fun weekend!
