Little Man is 3!

Time flies when you’re having fun! That’s the only way I can figure out how my little baby boy has gotten to be 3 years old!!! He’s such a funny, sweet, ornery, imaginative, stubborn, creative, inquisitive, truck/tractor/airplane/motorcycle/digger-loving little boy. Decker is such a typical little boy sometimes and is constantly on the go. He is always amusing us with his stories and likes to listen to music and jam out on his guitar. If had his way, we’d be outside every minute of every day exploring. I found an idea on Pinterest to ask your kids the same questions every year on their birthday to see what they like each year. It was fun to see how he answered:
What is your favorite color?  Red
What is your favority toy? Tractor, airplane, pickup
What is your favorite fruit? Strawberries
What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch?  Peas
What is your favorite outfit? ISU t-shirt
What is your favorite game? Zingo
What is your favorite snack? Cheetos and fruit snacks
What is your favorite animal? Dog
What is your favorite song? NaNaNa Whoo Whoo (Stories by Go Fish)
What is your favorite book?  I don't know
Who is your best friend? Conner, Anderson, Sydni
What is your favorite cereal? Fruit Loops
What is your favorite thing to do outside? Play in sandbox
What is your favorite drink? Chocolate milk
What is your favorite holiday? Halloween
What do you like to take to bed with you at night? Blanket and Green (stuffed dog)
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Pop Tarts
What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Picnic by the cannon with corn dogs, cheetos and donut holes.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Drive a digger

The night before Decker’s birthday I decorated some of the doorways in our house for Decker to wake up to. He was quite excited and had fun breaking all the streamers. For his party at Kimmie’s, he chose a Clifford birthday party theme. He had fun with all the kids celebrating his birthday. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday supper, he was very specific – a picnic in the park by the cannon with cheetos, corn dogs and donut holes :) Since Jeff was out of town for work on his birthday, grandma, granny and pampa joined us. It was a fun picnic and Decker liked terrorizing his grandmas with his new water guns.

Showing me how old he is and ready for his party at daycare!

 Good morning 3 year old!

Having fun breaking through the streamers.
Enjoying our picnic in the park.
Decker preaching to us about something...
