Go Cyclones!

While the big boys were off hunting labor day weekend, Mom and I decided to take Decker to the ISU football game since no one was using the tickets. We invited along our friends Annie and Conner for the day who are big Cyclone fans and had never been to Jack Trice before. Decker was excited the week leading up and put on his football uniform every night after he got home from daycare and practiced tackling, running, etc. The day of the game was fun – almost 9 months pregnant and all! The boys did pretty good in the stands and it was fun to watch ISU win. A few days after the game, we went to watch our nephew Colten play football. Decker had to wear his ISU helmet to the game and wondered why there wasn’t a siren that went off when a touchdown was scored :)

The next weekend we gathered with our neighbors to watch the ISU vs. Iowa football game. It was a fun game to win, especially with the majority of our friends being Hawkeye fans. I got so excited at one point that I didn’t think about being pregnant and jumped up to do a cheer/dance… I’m sure I looked great doing that ;) The kids had lots of fun playing together in the gorgeous weather and enjoyed lots of good food too!
Go CYCLONES!!!
