Baby Shower

Heidi and Jaci hosted a baby shower in Pella for me a couple of weekends ago. It was a great time. Thanks again girls! It was a lot of fun opening all the baby gifts and I got some really neat things. Everything is all put away in the nursery and can’t wait to use it all. My mom has been cleaning the attic in her house getting things ready for grandchildren to play with and she gave me all of my baby stuff at the shower – baby book, coming home outfit, blankets, etc. It was a lot of fun to look through all the different items and read some of the “how to” booklets she saved from when I was born. Things have definitely changed! Both of our nieces Emily and Kayli came to the shower. The funniest part was that Emily (she’s 5) kept asking me when I was going to take my shower. We tried explaining to her why it’s called a baby shower but don’t think she caught on. When asked by her parents that night how the shower was she said “good, expect Aunt Tricia never did get her shower.” The things kids think of : )
