5 Months

Can’t believe our baby Decker is already 5 months old! This has been a hard month for the little guy. He has 3 teeth now so has had to put up with those coming in. He had an ear infection then went back two weeks later and had a double ear infection. Thought he was allergic to the penicillin from the medicine. But at the same time I had given him penicillin we had also tried soy formula. The Dr. didn’t think it was soy so gave it to him again and he had another rash. So guess he's allergic to soy. It’s been a rough month of little sleep for all of us but he’s such a trooper and hardly fussed through it all : ) He’s getting to be so funny too. He’s giggling all the time and loves to play peek-a-boo. He’s into the stage where anything he grabs on to is immediately put into his mouth. I’ve had to learn to watch my jewelry and hair when holding him! His favorite toy he has found this month is his feet. Whenever he gets the chance he is putting them in his mouth and sucking on his toes. He doesn’t seem too interested in rolling over anymore. We keep getting him to try but to no luck. It’s been another fun month with our little man!
