Easter weekend

We had a very busy fun-filled Easter weekend this year. I had go to Kansas City for work on Thurs. so dropped Decker off with granny and pampa and Aunt Katie (my sister was back for the whole week before she moved to WI). On Friday Decker and I got to go hang out with Kary and her girls for awhile which was fun. Then in the afternoon Kim, Becky, Mallory, Evan and Des all came over and we dyed Easter eggs and made popcorn cake. Mallory and Evan did a great job and Decker got to do a few too :) On Sat. morning we went uptown to the annual Mt. Ayr Easter egg hunt. It was fun to see all the out-of-towners who were back visiting as well! From there we went to go and meet our newest member of the Routh family: Lane John Parrish. He is such a cutie! He weighed 10 lb. 6 oz. so a really big boy. Already sleeping through the night some - Lincoln and Shawna are so lucky!

So excited!

Dyeing Easter eggs!

And the finished product! (Notice the pretty flowers in Evan's hair!)

Nina and Decker with his new coon hat found in his Easter basket (he loves the hat and doesn't even try to take it off like all the other hats he owns)

Mallory and the ultimate coon hat!

Decker's turn

Mallory is stylin in her new hat and bracelet

Crazy cousins!

These two are going to get into so much trouble!

Getting to meet Lane with Pampa and Aunt Patty

Playing with great great uncle JB

Almost all the cousins with baby Lane

I love blueberries!

Uncle Matt teaching Decker how to blow a duck call - he was so amazed at Uncle Matt's talent! :)

On Sun. we went to church in Pella with all of Jeff's family. Then headed to grandma and grandpa's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It's always fun to get together with all the cousins! And Patti was able to get the day off from work too which was nice. We also celebrated our nephew Colten's 10th birthday. Decker had lots of fun playing with everyone. It was a great weekend!

All dressed up for Easter

All the blondie cousins

Believe it or not the boys actually did this on their own without us posing them. First it was Caden and Decker cuddling then one by one the other boys came and sat down. First and probably the last time that will happen!

On your marks, get set, go!

Playing with grandpa

Making silly faces and playing with all his Easter eggs from the egg hunt

Coy really liked Colten's birthday cake!

Everyone loves to go on rides in grandma's ranger
