Ag in the City

During the summers in Pella, every Thursday night they have a community event called “Thursdays in Pella”. At these events they have a different theme each week and then have food vendors, free rides and jumping houses for the kids, retail stores close later and entertainment from dancing to bands, etc. They are lots of fun and a free family night. The last event of the summer was called Ag in the City. So all around the square they had farm equipment that you could check out. Decker had a blast sitting on the 4-wheelers, lawn mowers, tractors and pretending to drive the combine (he did find the turn signal). He thought he wanted to do the kiddie rides but once he was on the rides, he didn’t like any of them and got very shy and scared. I don’t think he liked the fact that mom and dad couldn’t go with him!

Decker thought he needed his own money after he saw mommy get some out of the ATM.
