Towards the end of June we had our yearly weeklong trip to Jeff’s parents cabin with all the families. With work Jeff and I were there a couple of days out of the week and Decker got to stay with his cousins and grandma and aunts for the whole time. He had lots of fun and we did too! There was boating, playing games, lots of food, playing on the beach and just being silly with the cousins. On Sat. it rained a lot of the day so we decided to go see Cars 2. This was Decker’s first movie. He did pretty good. He got restless but it was also right after nap time so probably not the best time to go. On Sat. we celebrated our nephew Caden's birthday. We also did campfires, glow sticks, hobo pies and card playing. And LOTS of tubing! The last day we were there was the nicest weather. Grandma decided to go tubing with us and Decker fell asleep on her lap. He must have been really tired as we were going over waves and it was quite a bumpy ride. Then Patti and I had fun tubing with Colten and battling out to see if he could tip us over or not. Of course we had a great week with everyone and look forward to the trip next year!!
