Summer Lake Fun

Jeff, Decker and I have been spoiled with all of our lake activities this summer. At the beginning of June we went to Lake Ponderosa where our neighbors parents have a cabin. It was fun to get away for the night and enjoy the water. Decker was great on the boat and played well with all the girls.

For Father’s Day weekend we headed down to Mt. Ayr as it was also Claire’s first birthday. Matt and Katie had a great Little Sunshine themed birthday party for her and Claire absolutely loved her birthday cake and really dug into the frosting. Even the ice cream truck that comes through Mt. Ayr stopped by her party and we all had a treat. We stayed the rest of the weekend at the lake and got to hang out with family and friends. A fun weekend.
