Visit from Aunt Katie

My sister Katie came to visit for a few days this past week. Decker had lots of fun with his aunt! He got to stay home from daycare while mommy and daddy worked and spend time with Aunt Katie. She did us a great favor by teaching me some meals to cook and stocking our freezer with yummy meals for the busy weeks ahead!! Katie also somehow got Decker to eat squash again and he loves it. He keeps asking for it at every meal. One day she took him to the science center in Des Moines. They had lots of fun with the rocket launcher, bubbles, ball wall and watching the movie. Thanks for all the fun aunt Katie!













I had to throw this picture in here. Decker thinks it's SOOO funny for daddy and him to tickle or "get" mommy. Katie was here to witness the attack :) So she snapped a few pictures. This is pretty much a nightly occurrence of playing chase at our house!


Us girls also got to have a fun night out! Katie and I met up with some college/high school friends of mine for a girls night out in Des Moines. Lots of good food and great conversation!
