Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we had a very busy and very fun weekend. We started off Sat. early morning going to our nephew Colten's football game. It was the last one of the season and Jeff and I were both home so able to go. Colten did a great job playing running back and made lots of plays.

On a side note: Decker is now obsessed with football. It's so cute! He takes his toy basket and puts it on his head and it's his football helmet. He runs around the house with his ISU football and the helmet on his head and says "I tackle Colten", "Colten made a touchdown", etc., etc. Everything has Colten in it. He's also wanted to wear shirts with a football or helmet on them every day this week.

After the football game we headed to Carroll's Pumpkin Farm. Grandma came along with us and glad she could come. Decker and all of us had a good time. There were so many fun things for him to choose from - jumping pillow, tractor trikes, lawnmower train ride, feeding the goats just to name a few. We also went out in the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins to take home.

After the pumpkin patch, we headed home for naps then went to a church group that night. They had a soup supper and hayrack ride. Decker had a great time being out on the farm and getting to see the goats, miniature horses, and all the tractors and farm equipment. He didn't like the geese though, too loud and put his fingers in his ears until they were gone!

On Sun. afternoon we had the neigbors over for our annual pumpking carving and soup supper. Last year Decker gagged when he helped scoop out the pumpkin and this year he wouldn't even help at all. So all the kids painted pumpkins while the moms carved. I'm not for sure what the dads did?!? :) What a fun and exhausting weekend!

This is the only picture I got from the hayrack ride, little man munching on some hay

Having fun painting

All the kiddos. Decker didn't have a baby to hold so the girls gave him a doll :)

All of our pumpkins!
