Spoiled by the Grandparents

Our daycare provider Kimmie went to Hawaii on vacation (so lucky!) So Decker got to enjoy lots of time with his grandparents and was spoiled for the last 2 weeks! The first week she was gone, Decker went to Grandma’s house. They had lots of fun playing and got to spend some time with cousins Colten, Emily and Dylan too. Jeff built an ice shack for ice fishing this winter. He has spent lots of time building it at his dad's woodshop. While Decker was at Grandma's they all worked with Grandpa and Grandpa Great to get the ice shack finished. He used lots of old parts to make the shack and it turned out pretty cool. Jeff is excited for the weather to get cold so he can try it out.

The second week Decker got to go to Granny and Pampa's house for a few days. While he was there they had the annual Beggar's Bash in the park so Decker got to dress up as a duck hunter and go with his cousins. Another treat was getting to ride in the combine. Decker is our little farmer and LOVES tractors, combines, etc. He had a great time riding in the combine with Pampa and Lincoln. And with the weather so nice they got to do some fishing too.

Thanks to the grandmas for sharing pictures with me!

The finished product! (He had to put his name and address according to the DNR so he can leave it on the lake all winter - just in case you were wondering)
